During the closed conference, which took place from 30 September to 31 October in Barnstorf, the Transregional CRC 136 said farewell to the former speaker and subproject leader Professor Ekkard Brinksmeier, who accompanied the CRC from the very beginning. Together with former companions, anecdotes were exchanged and memories toasted. Well-equipped with a bath towel, sunglasses and a medal especially made for this occasion showing the various manufacturing processes, Professor Brinksmeier started his well-deserved retirement. The colleagues wish him all the best and thank him for his many years of commitment to the Transregional CRC 136!
